Day 10: Being Accepted

Being accepted means not only being accepted by others, but also being accepted by yourself which I think is more important. In this post, I would definitely like to talk more about the later one.

Accepting ourselves does not represent we are going to maintain the current situation forever, but it is the first step for us to make a change after knowing who we are. People who doesn't accept himself acts wired and always trying to run away from himself, and it's incredible tough and dull to be around with people who do not accept themselves, just think about this: who is going to accept someone who even don't accept themselves?

Day 9: Being Alone

The greatest mind has to bear the greatest solitude. Once you reached a deeper inside yourself then you would found you are alone, the essence for your existence is solitude. In the same way, to found yourself, you have to be alone so that you can have the "conversation" with yourself and walk into the wonderland. A man can be himself only so long as he is alone.
Being alone is the way to have "conversation" with yourself. (photo source)

People who enjoy themselves and their loneliness because they have splendid inner worlds, even they were alone, they would be satisfied to face themselves and search the "wonderland" to gain the energy. While for the people who always trying to escape from themselves, they are frightened to see their empty inner worlds, they can't see the point, light and get the comforts from themselves, getting themselves lost...trying to hold on to someone who doesn't care about losing them.

Day 8: the Truth

Everybody heard about the "truth"
but seldom of them could see it.

Day 7: (Continued Story) the Paradox

For the continued story of contradiction, this time I'd like to introduce you something more exciting, it's called--Paradox, which is more fascinating to me, and it leads to uncoordinated contradictions. So first we need to know the difference and connection between paradox and contradiction. Generally, a contradiction is a statement that contains more than one propositions which cannot be all true at the same time, the solution is you have to discard some of them. While paradox is a statement that can neither be true nor false for both of the situation would lead to contradictions and there is no solution to fix it.

By the explanation above, it is easy to see that the example in the former blog entry is a contradiction, because the announcement "I’m not going to post today" and the fact that "I posted it at last" (stated in another way) cannot be all true at the same time. There are also some similar contradictions stated as "I'm not typing on a computer", "I'm saying nothing", "The color of these words is red"...and so on.

Day 6: the Day for Break

Seriously this is not even a break since I am still writing my 6th blog entry, but I'm also announcing that I won't post blog entry today by publishing a blog entry, so there is a contradiction.
CONTRADICTION LEADS TO MISERIES. (photo source)

It is very powerful to use contradictions to show some systems that are not self-consistent. To prove whether there are contradictions, the only thing you need is logical deduction, then soon or later you will know it. But once it was being proved that a system is self-consistent or there is no contradiction, then it is a perfect well-functioning system, that's the reason why Riemannian geometry and Hyperbolic geometry are being widely accepted by the whole world even they go against people's intuition.

Day 5: the Self-awareness

Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.
Lao Tzu

Maybe the most amazing and incomprehensible thing in the world is that you can feel yourself. When we were born there was no memories or self-awareness inside, and before that we don't even exist yet! So where are we from and who are we? Why was this body being chosen to be "me" instead of others? We'd better start with distinguishing the physical me and self-awareness me.

Day 4: the Reality

I think therefore I am.
France, RenĂ© Descartes

When I was little, I was terrified to think that I might be in a huge play, all of the people I know including my parents acted in front of me in turns, and they discussed when and where to show up next time when I can't see them. All things happened around me were trying to lead me to somewhere. Even now I am fascinated by my childhood thoughts, however, I still can't prove they are wrong.
